When was the last time you really looked at your website?
Not when you updated a blog post.
Not when you changed your phone number.
I mean actually looked at it like you’re a potential customer seeing it for the very first time.
Because your website has probably hasn’t changed much since you first created it.
But I bet… your business has changed.
Your services have changed.
Your prices may have changed.
Your ideal customer might have changed.
And yet your website is still saying the same things it said two, three, or even five years ago.
This happens all the time.
You get busy running your business and your website becomes something you set and forget.
Until one day you realize…
Wait.
That’s not what I do anymore.
Or…
I don’t even offer that service anymore.
Or…
Why is that old photo still on my homepage?
But trust me… your stagnant website is NOT helping you.
Your website needs to go through updates and grow… just like your business.
That’s why it’s so important to check in every once in a while and ask yourself:
Does this still sound like me?
Does this still represent my business?
Are my services easy to understand?
Are my links working?
Is my information current?
And most importantly…
Is this website actually helping me get customers?
If you can’t remember the last time you really looked at your website, maybe it’s time to dive a little deeper… and maybe recruit some help.
